Information we collect

Account and profile data

When you create an account, we collect details like your name, email address, profile preferences, and any information you choose to add to your creator profile.

Connected content sources

When you link external sources (such as blogs, newsletters, social channels, or repositories), we ingest the content and metadata you authorize us to access. This can include titles, publish dates, author names, and content body text.

Constellation beta interactions

If you use Constellation, we may collect prompts, messages, workflow requests, attachments, outputs, follow-up responses, Slack or integration metadata, timestamps, and internal annotations associated with operating the beta.

Usage and device data

We collect log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken to keep the Service reliable and secure and to understand feature usage.

Support and communications

If you contact us, we keep the messages and any related information so we can respond and improve our support.

How we use information

  • Provide the Service, including content ingestion, search, and discovery features.
  • Create embeddings and indexes that help surface your content in AI-powered results.
  • Authenticate users, manage accounts, and keep data in sync with connected sources.

  • Review, annotate, and use beta conversations, attachments, and outputs to debug, evaluate, secure, and improve the Service.

Constellation beta confidentiality

Constellation beta is not designed to be a confidential, privileged, or source-protected channel. Do not submit source identities, unpublished reporting materials, privileged documents, embargoed information, or other highly sensitive information unless you accept the risk that Mizal and its service providers may process that information to operate, debug, and improve the beta.

How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, search infrastructure, file processing, workflow tooling, Slack or connector integrations, and AI/model providers. They may access data only to perform services on our behalf and under contractual or operational restrictions we put in place.

If you choose to make your profile or content public, it may be discoverable by other users or through AI integrations that query Mizal.

Authorized Mizal personnel may review Constellation beta interactions, attachments, and outputs for support, abuse prevention, security, quality assurance, and product improvement.

We may disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Mizal and our users.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion, we remove or anonymize your data unless we need to keep it for legal, security, operational, abuse-prevention, or product-improvement reasons. Constellation beta conversations, outputs, and operational logs may be retained for a period after use to debug incidents, review quality, and improve the product.

Your choices and rights

  • Update or correct your profile information at any time from your account settings.
  • Disconnect content sources you no longer want Mizal to access.
  • Request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.
  • Because Constellation beta is experimental, deleting a conversation may not immediately remove associated operational logs, backups, or review records.
